Founded under the Kerala State Responsible Tourism Mission in 2024, Srijeevam Responsible Tourism Club was born out of a shared vision: to foster a tourism ecosystem that empowers women and uplifts local communities. As the tourism landscape evolves, we have grown into a dynamic platform where passionate women come together to shape the future of travel in Kerala.
Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is clear—empower women through sustainable tourism and community engagement. We work closely with the Kerala State Responsible Tourism Mission to:
- Expand Opportunities: By integrating women into every aspect of tourism—from travel planning to on-ground execution
- Enhance Skills: Our core group is trained in storytelling, vlog-making, marketing, and community tour leadership, ensuring that every experience we offer is authentic, engaging, and safe.
- Promote Safety: With a strong focus on women-safe travel, we provide comprehensive guidance on destination safety and host exclusive women-centric tourism events.
- Sustain Community Growth: We actively support initiatives that blend culture, art, food, and handcraft, paving the way for innovative business ideas and sustainable livelihoods.
What We Do
- Women Entrepreneur Network: We connect women from diverse backgrounds to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and build self-sustainable businesses in the travel and tourism industry.
- Training & Capacity Building: From POSH training to specialized workshops in digital storytelling and marketing, our programs are designed to empower women with the skills needed to thrive.
- Community Engagement: We facilitate community tours and local experiences that celebrate Kerala’s cultural heritage, ensuring that tourism benefits the entire community.
- Collaborations & Partnerships: Working alongside the Kerala State Responsible Tourism Mission and various UN Women projects, we extend our impact through strategic partnerships and innovative projects.
