The Vilwadrinatha Temple, also known as the Thiruvilwamala Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Rama, located in Thiruvilwamala, a town near Thrissur city in Kerala, India. The temple is one of the most important Rama temples in Kerala.
The main deity of the temple is Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, along with his brother Lakshmana. Hanuman is also worshipped as a subsidiary deity. The temple is one of the four major Rama temples in Kerala, along with Thriprayar, Kadavallur, and Thiruvangad.
What makes this temple unique is the presence of a rare idol of Lakshmana, which is not commonly found in Indian temples. From the temple, one can also enjoy the scenic view of the Bharathapuzha River.
